INEC Reveals: 40 Polling Units to Go Without Elections in Bayelsa and Imo States, Imo Leads in Uncollected PVCs

    The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced that elections will not take place in 40 polling units during the November 11 governorship elections in Bayelsa and Imo states due to the absence of registered voters.

   Imo State, which has the highest number of registered voters, also leads in uncollected Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) with 101,003 uncollected, while Bayelsa has 39,249 uncollected PVCs.

Update

    Additionally, Kogi State has 99,494 uncollected PVCs. INEC released a comprehensive list of collected and uncollected PVCs, including details by polling unit, local government areas, registration areas/wards, polling unit names, code numbers, and the number of registered voters.
